The Joyful Moments of Owls in Preschool

The last few weeks have been filled with incredible adventures and meaningful learning experiences for our preschoolers. We kicked things off with Fire Safety Week, giving the children a hands-on introduction to important safety skills. Our visit to the local fire station brought these lessons to life—the kids had the chance to explore real fire trucks, ask firefighters questions, and understand what it means to keep safe in an emergency.

Transitioning into our first big topic, Nature, we started with some classroom activities before taking our lessons outdoors. Our visits to the nearby forest quickly became a highlight, allowing the children to dive into nature first hand. They collected leaves, observed small animals, and truly embraced the wonders of the forest. We also spent a memorable half day at Villa Elfvik, a cozy nature house nestled in a beautiful outdoor setting. Here, we enjoyed snacks, played games, and let the kids explore freely, surrounded by the peacefulness of nature. It was a perfect space for them to connect with the environment, each other, and the lessons we’ve been discussing.

To add a bit of fun, we also organized a pajama party and some visits to a popular city playground,The Angry Birds Park. The pajama party brought a sense of joy and comfort to the group, as everyone loved spending the day in their coziest pajamas. Our playground visits offered a change of scenery and space for physical play, helping the children strengthen their friendships while enjoying some fresh air and unstructured fun.

Reflecting on these experiences, it’s been wonderful to watch the children grow through each activity, discovering the world around them while building connections with their peers. We look forward to the many adventures ahead, knowing these young minds are ready to explore even more!
