- Brian Crosby is the first contact for all daily operations in Albatross as well as the general administration of all matters concerning the daycare and customers. Brian is responsible for overseeing the wellbeing of the children and families as well as streamlining daycare’s practices.
Tanja Virta-Hinkkanen

- Tanja Virta-Hinkkanen supports the teachers in implementing pedagogic activities in the children’s groups. She acts as a liaison in regards to education in Espoo and ensures that Albatross follows the Finnish curriculum and practices.
Albatross Center
Albatross Center is a 57m2 spacious room, in which children have the possibility to do sports, work in small groups and stage exhibitions for parents. In the center the daycare organises events and meetings. If needed it is a peaceful place for discussion and staff gatherings.
It is possible to rent the center, even for families not in Albatross Daycare. Our current users include instructors of Pilates, Dance and personal training. The space is ideal for children’s birthday and small family celebrations.

Working in Albatross
Albatross Daycare employs an international staff of nearly 20 professionals in the field of education. Our criteria for selecting staff to work in the daycare include: education, experience and a passion for working with children, in addition to fluent English. Permanent positions are available to those who hold the necessary qualifications.
Albatross closely follows the labour union booklet (collective-agreement-for-the-private-social-services-sector). The daycare provide/offer a well organised working environment in which management is available daily. Albatross staff meet twice annually for an all-staff-meeting.
Substitute work is available without the necessary qualifications. The length of the contract can vary depending on the need.
