Hello dear reader,
It´s been many months since we last wrote here. Last time we were mentioning the activities we had ahead for April and May.
During this time, Puffins have been involved in Easter celebration by planting Easter grass, decorating Easter branches and finishing the celebrations by doing an Easter egg hunt. They were incredible days in which children were able to learn about how Easter is celebrated here in Finland as well as working on their fine motor skills since the majority of the activities required a lot of had hands coordination as well as eye-hand coordination.
Right after the Easter holidays, Puffins came back with energies recharged and they were enjoying their time in the class by playing a lot with friends both outdoors and indoors, looking at books, exploring with new puppets for the puppet theatre, etc. Also, they had the visit of the company Pets On Wheels, in which the children got the experience of petting them, learn about their main aspects, etc. Puffins did so well!!
Very close to the end of April, Puffins have been inmersed in preparing the gifts from mother´s day coffe that we will have at the beginning of May, in which all mums are more than welcome to have time and a little snack with their children. We don´t want to show many photos of these gift preparations since we want them to be a surprise; we only can tell you that children have been putting a lot of love and effort doing them.
