What a wonderful start we have had to our preschool year! Our first days and weeks have been filled with joy, curiosity, laughter, and lots of opportunities to explore and learn together.
We have been getting to know our preschool surroundings and discovering all the exciting things our learning environment has to offer. To help us settle in and get to know one another, we have enjoyed board games, puzzles, and different activities in our preschool setting. These moments have been a lovely way for the children to practise cooperation, problem-solving, and communication while having fun together.
Of course, we have also made the most of our time outdoors! Playing outside has given us plenty of opportunities to move, explore, observe, and enjoy the world around us. The children have been excited to discover new things and share their observations with their friends and teachers.
Exploring Our New Topic: Nature 🌱
We have also started our first exciting topic: Nature!
Nature has inspired us across many different areas of learning. Through maths and science, we have been observing, counting, comparing, investigating, and asking questions about the natural world. The children have enjoyed becoming little explorers and discovering how fascinating nature can be.
Our nature theme has also provided wonderful opportunities for arts and crafts. We have used our creativity to represent what we have seen and learned, allowing the children to express their ideas and experiences in imaginative ways.
It has been wonderful to see how interested and enthusiastic the preschoolers have been throughout this topic. Their curiosity has led to lots of questions, conversations, discoveries, and, most importantly, joyful learning.
We are so proud of the positive start our children have made and are excited to see where their curiosity takes them next. There are many more adventures, discoveries, and topics waiting for us!
We are looking forward to continuing our learning journey together and exploring all the wonderful things the coming weeks will bring!
