To all our readers, we hope you had a lovely summer holiday! We have come back together with our new group of finches, and what an exciting start it has been.
August began and we welcomed the old parrots group into our Finches group and new children at Albatross. A fresh start always brings excitement, and it has been wonderful to see the Finches settling in so well. Those first weeks were all about getting used to know new routines, making friends, and becoming familiarized with the new classroom.
The finches are already growing into curious explorers and confident talkers. Partner play time has helped them to connect with each other and share. All the Finches love books, and story time has quickly become one of their favorite moments of the day. It is always lovely to see their happy faces when they enjoy new adventures through books.
One of the highlights so far has been our weekly gym in the local forest . We played games and explored little wonders all around. We noticed the forest has been changing after the summer and during our adventures we discovered a variety of mushrooms and small animals such as a slug.
We are very proud how the Finches are settling nicely. They are exploring, creating and playing together with kindness to each other . Each week brings new smiles.
We are looking forward to play more, learn more and have lots of fun!
