Hello everybody!!!
Long time not see (aka read). It´s been a while since the last time we wrote here. You are probably wondering what´s been happening during all these months, and let me tell you, a lot has happened. Firstly, Summer holidays came and what a great summer weather Finland had. It was very sunny every day and we are very sure the Puffins had such a wonderful time with their families. We said bye bye to the 2024/2025 Puffins who have now become Penguins and Parrots. It looks like it was yesterday when they started their journey in the daycare and here we are today, showing some tears of pride because they are growing so fast and moving to a new group.

Now it is 2025/2026 academic year, meaning a new beginning here in Albatross Daycare and the Club has opened its doors to welcome a new group of Puffins. New children have started their journey here in Albatross and we couldn´t be happier. The children are getting used to everything around them like for example the environment, the class, the friends and the teachers. Only three weeks have passed since they joined the group but we can guarantee for sure they are becoming great explorers and talkers; class is full of conversations!! It is so lovely to see them trying to make conversations with friends and teachers. This academic year will bring with it challenges, but we are more than ready to overcome them both puffins and teachers together, we will be a great team. These challenges will bring with them an agenda full of learnings, moments and experiences. We will take it step by step, like the speed of a cruise; so we can enjoy every day of this journey.

Some days ago, we hosted our first event with families, the Parents Evening. During this event we shared with families some important info such as daily routine, goals of the year, policies, etc; ending the evening with a great activity used to explain one of our main yearly goals. It was fantastic to see families immersed in this activity and to see them becoming a Puffin for some time.
Welcome everybody, let´s sail together,
Coraima and Griselda.
