In our preschool, The Owls have been having a wonderful time exploring endless learning opportunities. From constructing bridges and buildings to traveling “Around the World,” every moment has been filled with curiosity, creativity, and fun! We recently explored the world of construction, learning how bridges and buildings are built. Through hands-on projects, the children engaged in creative problem-solving, teamwork, and imaginative play. It was an exciting and interactive way to understand structures and engineering in a fun, age-appropriate way!
After wrapping up our construction theme, we started our new topic, “Around the World.” Our young learners have been on an exciting journey, discovering different cultures, traditions, and ways of life across the globe. Through stories, music, art, and interactive discussions, they have been introduced to the diversity that makes our world so special. One of the highlights of this theme has been our parent visits, where families generously shared their cultural backgrounds and traditions. Parents presented fascinating aspects of their heritage, from traditional clothing and music to special customs celebrated in their home countries. The children were especially thrilled to taste delicious snacks from different cultures, experiencing unique flavors and learning about the significance of certain foods in various traditions. These hands-on experiences have been both exciting and enriching, helping the children develop a deeper understanding of diversity, respect for different traditions, and a sense of curiosity about the world. Watching them engage, ask questions, and show appreciation for different cultures has been truly heartwarming
Learning doesn’t stop in the classroom! We’ve had wonderful experiences visiting museums, musical events, and the library. These outings have given our preschoolers the chance to explore art, history, music, and books in a hands-on and engaging way.
