A big step for our Finches : Moving to the 4-year-olds Group!

In August, our little Finches made an exciting move from the 3-year-old group to the 4-year-old group! This is a significant milestone for them as they transition from toddlers into more independent, curious learners.

We kicked off this new chapter with a variety of engaging activities, including finger painting. It’s truly amazing to see how much their skills have grown! The classroom was filled with bright colors as they expressed their creativity and built confidence in their new space.

Recently, we went to the forest to observe the signs of autumn. It was a wonderful experience for the children to explore nature and see the changing colors of the leaves, enriching their understanding of the season.

After our forest adventure, each child brought in pictures of their favorite toy or book. We plan to use these pictures in a fun classroom activity where the children will share their images with the group, explaining why their toy or book  is special to them. This activity will help build their communication skills and  connections among classmates.

We had our family theme, and our classroom looks lovely adorned with all the children’s family pictures! This not only their space but also reinforces the importance of community and belonging.
