Hello dear reader and happy new year!
We hope that you had a lovely Christmas season full of joy, nice time with family and of course recharging energy.
A new year has started and it means a new semester has started at Albatross Daycare. Here in the class, we have said bye to some Puffins who have now become Penguins as well as we have welcomed new friends. So, some children are getting back to the routine as well as other are getting use to it.
Puffins have been playing a lot during indoors time with their usual toys, as well as exploring new things around the class environment such as a puppet theatre, experimenting more the sounds with shakers and ukelele, and working a bit on fine motor skills with the laptop by the new office corner. Moreover, outdoors they have been having a blast with sledges and sliders: because we have finally snow!!!! Some of the Puffins saw the snow for the first time this year, and although they were a bit shocked by everything turning white and being a bit difficult to walk, with the encouragement of teachers they have been slowly getting use to it and know children like it a lot.
We don´t have that much to share for now, but we are willing to see what the new semester has in store for us such as friendship week in February, international week in March, easter week in April, Sports Day and Mother´s day coffee in May; and many more activities and events we will have during the semester.
