We have just welcomed our new year and preschoolers are super excited about the new beginning. We have planned what we are learning and projects we are working on throughout the year. Preschoolers have collected the topics they want to learn in next few months. We have arranged several trips related to our topics. The nearby library and parks are our often visiting places, and we are ready to have fun and explore.
The start of 2025 marked a significant milestone for us: the beginning of a wonderful journey with our preschoolers, fondly known as the Owls. This year has already brought us moments of joy, growth, and discovery. As we embrace this exciting chapter, we’re thrilled to share some of the highlights of our experiences so far.
The first topic we embarked on was one that resonates with every child – TOYS! The enthusiasm was contagious as we dove into the fascinating world of toys. Together, we explored their history, uncovering how toys have evolved over time and how they reflect different cultures and eras. We also took a peek behind the scenes to learn about how toys are made, which sparked curiosity and wonder in our little Owls. Through hands-on activities, storytelling, and discussions, we connected play with learning. It was heartwarming to see the children’s eyes light up as they made connections between the toys they love and the stories behind them. As a wrap-up of the topic, we have successfully designed our toy projects as groups!
In our quest to nurture a love for learning, we’ve made several visits to the nearby library. These trips have been a hit with our Owls! Stepping into a world filled with books, stories, and adventures has been an enriching experience for the children. Our library visits provided opportunities to explore new topics, spark curiosity, and develop early literacy skills. The children were captivated by storytime sessions and thrilled to discover books that align with their interests. These visits have become a cherished part of our weekly routine, fostering a sense of wonder and an appreciation for reading. Every milestone deserves a celebration, and our 100 Days in Preschool event was no exception! This day was a joyous occasion where we reflected on the journey so far. The Owls eagerly shared their favorite memories and the lessons they’ve enjoyed most. From discovering new concepts to making friends and exploring the world around them, the past 100 days have been a treasure trove of growth and happiness.
We engaged in fun activities that highlighted the number 100, from counting games to crafting projects. It was a wonderful way to celebrate how far we’ve come and to inspire excitement for the journey ahead. As we move forward, we’re excited about the opportunities this year holds for the Owls.
