During the first weeks of 2024, the Puffins have been adapting again to the rhythm of daily life in the daycare, seeing again their friends and teachers. Furthermore, since this new year started, Puffins could not be happier about it. It will be full of new things to learn, discover, explore, and experience.
For the beginning of the spring term, teachers are very excited to plan new activities and ideas for the Puffins and hopefully introduce new possibilities. During the semester, the Puffins will start going to the gym to enjoy more space to move around, practicing more their fine motor skills, working more on their cognitive skills through patience and focus on a specific situation by using different games or activities, their social interaction skills, etc.
Alongside to this, they will have the opportunity to experience other new activities such as exploring the forest nearby as well as having new participations in theme days such as the friendship week, sports day, grandparents coffee day, leap day celebrations and so on.
Otherwise, Puffins will continue this journey of learning and exploring throughout the normal routine and practicing all the previous knowledge they had learned during the autumn term.
There is no doubt that the Puffins will encounter challenges during this new term, but we the teachers will be there to help and guide them in every step they take during this lovely journey. We are very convinced that Puffins are looking forward to all the beautiful moments they have ahead.
