This past month has been a rollercoaster of activities, games and emotions for the Puffins. They have said bye to a friend who has become a Penguin but at the same time they have welcomed a new friend who is very happy with the new environment and their soon-to-be friends. Their calendar of activities was full during the Friendship Week. During this week, Puffins went sledding together with teachers and they had so much fun! They were laughing so hard because the sledges were so fast. On the same day, Puffins had a special snack when they ate a delicious laskiaispulla to celebrate Laskiainen.
Alongside to these activities, Puffins have been expressing their art skills once more by painting heart cards for the Penguins. On Friendship Day, the Penguins group came to the Club to have a wonderful playdate full of excitement and happiness. Puffins and Penguins exchanged Friendship cards that they had prepared with so much love. They really enjoyed playing together and had a lot of fun! It is a nice change to both groups to play with different friends now and then.
During this month of activities and emotions, Puffins have been loving the arrival of their new toys. They like practicing their bowling skills with the new Moomin bowling set as well as meeting their new dolls Poppy and Charlie.
Regarding their communication and social skills, Puffins have been immersed in playing together both outdoors and indoors. They are now in the process of how to communicate with their friends, how to be gentle with each other and how to share toys. It is very lovely to see the bonding and friendships they are creating day by day.
