It has been such a great journey with our preschoolers, The Owls, that embraces each day with curiosity, wonder, and boundless energy. At our preschool, we’ve witnessed the joy and excitement that preschool life brings to our young learners. With a myriad of diverse activities designed to enrich their language and other competences, every day is an adventure filled with growth and discovery.
We had the pleasure of hosting a captivating exhibition focused on the theme of transport and traffic. This thematic exploration provided our preschoolers with a unique opportunity to explore the fascinating world of transportation, road safety, and traffic rules. As part of our transportation-themed exploration, we learned about the inventors behind various modes of transport and inspired them to think creatively. We encouraged them to design and create their own transport modes, which they proudly showcased at an exhibition for parents. Additionally, we explored the timeline of transportation history, tracing its evolution from ancient times to the modern era. Through hands-on activities and interactive lessons, our preschoolers gained a deeper appreciation for the ingenuity that drives progress and innovation.
Moreover, our visit to the children’s traffic town provided a real-world context for applying the rules and concepts we had learned throughout the theme. From understanding the importance of looking both ways before crossing the street to recognizing the role of traffic lights in maintaining order and safety, our preschoolers embraced the opportunity to put their knowledge into practice in a safe environment.
In addition to exploring the theme of transport, we covered topics like friendship, emotions, and feelings with our preschoolers. Maths and science were also integral parts of our curriculum, encouraging them to think differently and creatively.
